It all started in 1878 when two brothers, Andrew and Jacob Geiger, combined their talents and shared their aspirations to build a company that would become legendary for its integrity, superior products and attention to its customers. More than a century later, their one-room print shop has grown into a prominent manufacturer of calendars and planners, exclusive distributor of the world-renowned Farmers' Almanac and a full- service specialty advertising company. Today, the fourth consecutive generation of Geiger brothers manages one of the most progressive companies in the promotional products industry. Geiger is the proud recipient of The Margaret Chase Smith Maine State Quality Award. Geiger was recently notified by First Union National Bank that we have been awarded Level I certification, the highest distinction given to suppliers by First Union in their Certification Program. Of 40,000 active suppliers, there are just 15 firms which currently have been rated at Level I, among them IBM, FedEx, US Air, and Xerox. We will hire good people and treat them with the respect they deserve. The ongoing development of each person through training, empowerment, and recognizing accomplishment is vital.
