About
Institute for Financial Literacy
Founded in 2002, the Institute for Financial Literacy is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt non-profit organization whose mission is to make effective financial literacy education available for all American adults.
The Institute for Financial Literacy develops financial literacy education programs, working in partnership with other organizations to integrate financial literacy education into their current delivery of services, setting the National Standards for Adult Financial Literacy Education, and providing financial counseling and education services directly to clients.
As a national leader in financial literacy education, it is our intention to be the best and first choice for effective financial education programs in every market we serve. Our clients come from every state and every segment of our society. We earn their trust and meet their needs by providing programs and services that are nonjudgmental and which set the standard for customer service and quality in the United States.
Each employee is responsible for supporting the mission of the Institute through their interactions with clients and the general public.
