Home Care for Maine provides personal care and homemaking services that enhance the overall health and quality of life for individuals continuing to live at home and in need of assistance. We provide the essential services that help Maine's elderly and persons with disabilities stay in their own homes, close to family, friends, and familiar things in all of Maine's 16 counties.

We hire Personal Support Specialist (PSS) and Homemakers (HMK) for part-time hours up to 40.

PSS�s and HMK�s are compassionate, dependable, self-starters who possess patience and understanding to work with different personalities and environments.

Requirements: Stand long periods, push, pull, lift 20lbs., reach over head, & climb stairs; have valid drivers license & inspected/insured vehicle. We perform background checks on motor vehicle and criminal records and they must meet agency guidelines to be considered.

PSS duties include: housekeeping, i.e. vacuuming, laundry, meal prep, cleaning, etc., personal care, i.e. dressing, bathing, etc. errands & transportation. PSS/PCA/CNA certified a plus yet not required as we offer free Personal Support Specialist Certification training to our employees.

HMK�s duties include housekeeping, i.e. vacuuming, laundry, meal prep, cleaning, etc., plus errands and transportation. No certifications required.
