At Mid Coast Health Services, we believe our commitment goes beyond the acute care hospital setting to meeting the long-term health care needs of the communities we serve. Our not for profit family of services includes: Mid Coast Hospital, Mid Coast Senior Health Center, CHANS Home Health Care, Thornton Oaks Retirement Community and the Mid Coast Medical Groups. Our focus is modern, compassionate, value-driven healthcare and an exceptional work environment for all of our employees.

Mid Coast Hospital is a full service community hospital offering a busy, professionally challenging environment featuring the latest technologies and treatments in a setting that emphasizes personalized care. Five years after moving into our newly constructed facility we are continuing to grow and many of our open positions are related to expansion of services.

Mid Coast Senior Health Center occupies the former Mid Coast Hospital building that has been beautifully renovated to provide a full continuum of healthcare services for seniors at one location. This includes assisted living, a memory impairment unit, long-term skilled nursing care and a sub-acute unit.

CHANS Home Health provides a variety of in-home services including skilled nursing, hospice, rehabilitation services, maternal-child health, mental health and private duty.

Thornton Oaks is a retirement community offering private homes and apartments. Thornton Oaks is adjacent to Mid Coast Senior Health Center.

Mid Coast Health Services includes physician practices specializing in OB/GYN, internal medicine and surgical care. Offices are located in Brunswick, Bath and Topsham.
