Parkview Adventist Medical Center

Since its inception, Parkview Adventist Medical Center's mission has been to see the individual patient as a vibrant part of the community: body, mind and spirit. Located on a beautiful, wooded site near Brunswick's residential center, the 55-bed, acute care hospital has grown with the town since its doors first opened in 1959. Adventist health care has a rich tradition at Parkview; many of our medical staff attended the world renowned Loma Linda Medical School, itself a part of the Adventist health system. Parkview is one of about 70 acute care Adventist hospitals in the United States, and about 200 worldwide.



In addition to its caring, faith-based approach to health, Parkview is known for its state of the art technology, including advanced diagnostic services: digital 3-D ultrasound, PACS archiving system, and a 16 slice CT scan. Parkview's Family Life Center, known for its highly technological, yet compassionate approach to pre-natal, obstetric and gynecological care, has delivered over 22,000 babies since its inception. Services also include a newly renovated Center for Medical Surgical Care (including pediatrics), state-of-the-art intensive/cardiac care, 24-hour emergency service, surgical services, rehabilitation services in both Brunswick and Topsham, and an expanding volume in the outpatient area.
